My new release: Cover Reveal!

Whoopee. It won’t be too long before my next book Sliding Doors is released. Yay! I’m chuffed to bits, and I love my stunning cover, designed by the lovely folks over at Global Wordsmiths. All my books have a common denominator; they’re all love stories of a different kind. Romance is all about wonderful feelings of excitement and mystery. It doesn’t matter where it’s set as long as it’s a love story––because I’m a romantic at heart.

How did Sliding Doors come about? Bizarrely – you’ll laugh! I’d just had my garage doors painted, and when I returned from a walk, I thought, “What the hell?”

Well, they were bright yellow and now they were brown. Was I at the right house? What if I got inside and I’d been thrown into someone else’s life…and after being single, I found I had a wife and two kids? How would I react? I’ve always had that feeling that if time shifted just a fraction, there’d be another world running parallel to this and very similar to the one we live in. Beyond the Sliding Doors

I’ve been having a blast seeing Love for Auction do so well on the Amazon charts, but it’s time to start telling you all about my next book, due out soon:

Have you ever felt that your life is slipping away day by day and you long for something different, something exciting? Have you thought that you’ve been dealt a bad hand of cards, and they simply don’t suit you?

Gemma Tennant did, but she swaps lives with Alex Gambol, someone who is completely unaware of the possibilities. Gemma knows the risks she’s taken, but Alex is bemused, thrown into a life completely alien to her…but not completely unwelcome.

How will they cope? Will either find their dream life behind those sliding doors? Will they find love?

Of course, there’s an element of magic, but the story is set in contemporary England, where everything is almost the same…

They both have a new deck of cards in their hands. The question is, how will each woman play them.

New Release Day!

Yippee! It’s the release day for Love for Auction, my first shot at contemporary romance. It covers two of my favourite topics, age-gap and homecoming.

Love for Auction is up and running worldwide on Amazon and available in eBook, Kindle Unlimited, and paperback.

Right now, I’m on a flight bound for Miami for a Christmas cruise around the Caribbean. I love my cruises. So many interesting people to meet, and some who may crop up in my future books! Of course, I’m really looking forward to some sunbeams too after the past couple of rainy months in the UK.

To my readers, I’d like to say a huge thank you for all your support and encouragement. It really is appreciated.

I truly hope you’ll make a bid for Love for Auction and look forward to your reviews.

Romancing the Reviews

Reviews: I’ve been banging on about these a bit, but they’re so important to every author. You see, you write your book, you love it, and after a lot of hard work, you put it out there. You hope your readers feel the same, but the only way you’ll know is if they leave a review. It’s also valuable information for others to see. It’s a fantastic way of connecting and a good review gives you a buzz. It’s a bit like buying that perfect Christmas gift for someone you care about…they open it and their happiness is overwhelming. Like a cuddly pooch, a review isn’t just for Christmas, it’s for life! So go on, give your favourite author their best Christmas gift ever!

On that note…Merry Christmas. And remember it’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice!

It’s that exciting time when my lovely cover designers over at Global Wordsmiths have given me my spanking new shiny cover for my latest book, Love for Auction. I admit I’m a little in love with it!
