    Destiny of Hearts: Release Day

Whoopee! September 1st is the release day for Destiny of Hearts. The final book in my trilogy, An Opening in Time, is up and running on Amazon…worldwide! Right now, I’ll be on my way to Heathrow Airport and heading to Canada. At the end of that long flight, I get to see my sister which I’m really looking forward to.

This time last year Parallel Lives, the first in the trilogy was released. Kaitlin discovered the parallel world of Caysher and began an epic journey of self-discovery. Just six months later, Kaitlin headed home to Cheshire in the second book, Crossing Over. Wow, one year and three books! And I’m so grateful to Global Wordsmiths for making this wonderful experience possible.

So, I truly hope Destiny of Hearts wins yours! I look forward to your reviews, and once again, I’ll like to give a big thank you for all your support and kind words. To celebrate, I’m running a competition to win a copy of Destiny of Hearts. All you have to do is comment with who you would have liked to have ended up with (Tannus or Berran) and why? Good luck!

My most recent manuscript is with my editor right now, so I’ll be back with a new release just in time for Christmas (a traditional age-gap romance set in this world). Watch this space!

  • Destiny of Hearts available now!

    Destiny of Hearts available now!

Hey, you lovely guys. This is just a quick blog to let you know that Destiny of Hearts, the final book in my Opening in Time trilogy, is available worldwide for pre-order today! The official launch date is the 1st September 2019 so that’s when you can expect the book to whisper its way onto your Kindle.

If you haven’t met Kaitlin yet, there’s still time to catch up on her love triangle with twins Tannus and Berran, because I’ve got the first two eBooks on sale for just £2.50 in the run up to this release. Join Kaitlin in her first adventure as she crosses over to Caysher in Parallel Lives. And read how things get terribly complicated when she returns home to Cheshire in book two, Crossing Over.

The story concludes in Destiny of Hearts, but what will Kaitlin find in Caysher? It won’t be easy because so much has changed. But she does have her mum and her new friend, Marti, and of course, her precious twins. Poor Berran hasn’t fared that well in Kaitlin’s absence. In the end, will it be destiny that decides if their hearts will collide?

Well, you can find out very soon!

Thanks again to everyone out there for all your encouragement.

  • Crossing Over to Romance

    Crossing Over to Romance

I never intended to write a trilogy. I’ve always loved writing, and all I ever wanted to do was finish a book and have it published. One lucky day I met Victoria Villaseñor of Global Wordsmiths, at a Writing East Midlands event. She took one look at my mammoth ramblings and said, “This is a trilogy.” Victoria became my editor, and so began my journey into the unknown. I published Parallel Lives in September 2018, followed by Crossing Over in April 2019 (both are on sale all this month over at Amazon). It’s been great, but both sadly and happily, I’ve just put the finishing touches to the final book of the trilogy, Destiny of Hearts, due for release in September.

What next? Well, funny you should ask…

Some years ago, I was involved in a house auction and was completely fascinated by the whole process; particularly the strong, confident woman at its helm. Hey, I thought, wouldn’t it be great to write about a sexy lady auctioneer in action? And that’s how it began: a nice, pure romance, and something so different to my musings on parallel worlds.

But we all love a good old romance, me included. And they’re even better at Christmas, which is when mine will be released. Watch this blog for more details (title reveal, cover reveal, teasing blurb!).

Once again, many thanks to my readers, and I look forward to sharing this new adventure with you.

  • Always look on the bright side of life…

Always look on the bright side of life…

Sadly, right now, I’m not skipping along in time to the song! To cut a long story short: I woke up and couldn’t put any weight on left foot. I had an MRI and was “promptly” diagnosed with Tibialis posterior tendinopathy along with several tears to the tendon. The kicker (pun intended): there is no magical cure. I could have surgical foot reconstruction, but there are no guarantees that it would be successful! NO WAY!

Prognosis? No more long walks, no more cycling…a massive decrease in physical activity, which if you’ve read any of my other blogs, you’ll know is a huge blow. At least I can take a buggy for golf. My housemate and best friend, Christine, is royally peed off. She says my game’s improved! That’s something, I suppose…

There have to be positives in all things, and this is mine: writing has been my saviourAfter publishing Parallel Lives and Crossing Over in 2018 and 2019 respectively, I’ve now almost finished the final book in the Opening in Time trilogy, Bittersweet Return. It should be available in September or October (depending on how fast I get my next round of edits back to my editors!). So there’s no moping around for me. I’ve almost finished a new romance called “The Lady Auctioneer.” And if all goes well, it should be released in December, just in time for Christmas.

No. Immobility isn’t fun. But we all know, there are plenty of people out there who have it a hell of a lot worse, so I’ll be keeping my chin up and my fingers tapping on the keyboard.

  • Nothing Compares…

    Nothing Compares…

Time flies by so quickly, and as far as flying’s concerned, I’ve been doing a lot of that recently. I’ve had some terrific experiences visiting new parts of the world, but nothing compares to the excitement of publishing one’s very own book!

Parallel Lives, book one in An Opening in Time trilogy, was released in September 2018, and you can get that in eBook or paperback by following those links. Never in my life did I dream I’d see the day when I was finally a published author!

And now it’s time for lift off for the next instalment, Crossing OverIt’s available now, and you can get your copy from Amazon sites all over the world.

I’d like to give my sincere thanks to everyone out there who read my first book, and I also want to give a huge shout out to Kitty Author and LESBIReviewed videographer, Carol Hutchinson, who both do an amazing job of reading so many lesfic books and sharing their unique viewpoints on them: thank you.

I hope Crossing Over parallels (see what I did there?!) your first experience…or even surpasses it! I look forward to reading your thoughts on it.
